I led the strategic rebranding of Gentl (formerly Clearday), transforming them from a service-based to a tech-enabled company. I directed a comprehensive website redesign, from architecture to new page design, crafted engaging mobile experiences, reimagined platform dashboards, and developed intuitive user interfaces for senior care robots. This multi-faceted project enhanced digital presence, user engagement, and positioned Gentl as a leader in tech-enabled senior care solutions.

Challenge

Gentl, previously known as Clearday, was at a pivotal moment in its evolution, transitioning from a traditional service-based company to a tech-driven leader in senior care. This transformation required not only a fresh brand identity but also a fully integrated digital presence that could effectively communicate their new direction.

The challenge lay in creating a cohesive brand that resonated with their target audience while ensuring that their technology, including advanced robotics, was accessible and engaging for both elderly users and care facility operators.

I took charge of implementing the rebranding, creating a modern visual identity that included a new logo, color palette, and design system to ensure consistency across all platforms.

I redesigned the website from the ground up, incorporating custom imagery and user-centered copywriting to clearly convey Gentl’s mission. Additionally, I created intuitive interfaces for mobile applications and Geni, the senior care robot, as well as a comprehensive dashboard for operators, making the technology both engaging and easy to use. This holistic approach successfully positioned Gentl as a forward-thinking leader in tech-enabled senior care.

I developed a cohesive design system for Gentl, including a meticulously selected color palette, typography guidelines, and logo usage rules.

AI-Driven imagery tailored to Gentl's vision
Using Adobe Photoshop's beta generative AI feature, I created all the imagery for the new website, including unique visuals that integrated Gentl’s robots with human subjects. Since such images were unavailable on stock photo sites, I crafted each one from scratch, ensuring they perfectly matched the brand’s narrative and visual style.

I took full ownership of the website redesign, from copywriting to layout design to content and image creation. The site was built to be fully responsive, providing an optimal user experience across devices.

I designed two mobile views: one for the responsive website and another for notifications within the Gentl app. Each design was optimized for usability, ensuring that users had a seamless experience on mobile devices.

I also developed all screens for Geni, Gentl’s senior care robot, focusing on user-friendliness and accessibility. This involved creating intuitive interfaces for the robot's interactions with senior care patients, ensuring that the technology was both easy to use and engaging for elderly users.

Comprehensive dashboard for senior care operators
In addition to public-facing interfaces, I designed a comprehensive dashboard for operators of senior care facilities. This dashboard allows operators to manage and monitor the robots effectively, while also providing an interface for senior guests via an iPad application, tailored to their needs.
